Judges should know everybody is equal

I am surprised why of all the people the judges have objection to declaring their assets. They should be the first group of people who should voluntarily declare their assets as they are the people who judge the actions of others.

I believe that everyone in government service should declare assets as the people of this country have lost trust in the departments of the government.

I am also surprised that no action can be taken against the judiciary. For instance, there were serious charges against Justice Sabharwal but no action was taken. According to the constitution of this country, everybody is equal. I can understand the need to protect them for which you can have stricter review process but everyone in this country should be treated equal in the eyes of the law.

I think even to prosecute certain senior government officials, the approval of the government is required before charges can be filed against them which doesn’t make sense.

I am surprised that nobody has filed a PIL that this is violation of the constitution and is a clear case of discrimination.
