Political circus continues. Lalu deserts Sonia

Politicians of this country never fail to amaze me. What they will do to win an election, a chief ministers. a minister or prime minister positions. Today, I heard Lalu Yadav almost deserted Sonia and got in bed with Paswan. The third front has been formed with a lot of PM wannabes. Now Lalu has realized that if he continues to stay in Congress, he will never become PM. So he has joined hands with Paswan to improve his numbers so that he can either become a kingmaker of even the king. I think with this act, Lalu is keeping his options open. He can even join the third front.

Lalu Prasad Yadav knows that staying in Congress is not going to get him the Prime Minister’s job. Congress still has Manmohan Singh and then Rahul Gandhi is in the waiting line. He had no choice but to look for alternatives.

There has been no talk of how to improve the country. Everybody is focused on how to get elected and then how to get power. As mentioned in my earlier blog, we need to give these guys a shock and elect people who are independents or who are contesting election from little known parties. Its about time we also desert the current lot of politicians and political parties.

Its about time, we changed the default power centres like BJP, Congress, Samajwadi Party (SP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). DMK, AIADMK, CPI and others. Unless we change the default, we will keep ending with the same default corrupt politicians.
