Meera Sanyal-fits into my crazy idea of voting

In my earlier blog, I have stated that we need to change our voting pattern to give a shock treatment to our existing group of corrupt politicians. I had suggest that we all vote for independents and people who are not known or those that are from unknown political parties. I had also given my reasons for the same.

Yesterday, in the morning news, I heard that an ex-MNC senior executive Meera Sanyal is going to contest elections from Mumbai (I think South Mumbai). I think people in Mumbai should vote for her. She fits exactly into my suggested strategy to give a shock treatment to our cuirrent group of no-good corrupt politicians.

When I talk about changing our voting pattern, I am talking about voting for people like Meera Sanyal who are fed up with the current situation and want to do something about it. Meera Sanyal has the same reasons for contesting the elections that I have.

There a number of contestants who do not have much money to spend too much on a publicity campaign. As such, the voters do not get to know about them. But as the background of Meerra Sanyal suggests, she will certainly be a better person to entrust our nation’s future to as compared to the current bunch of politicians. So I urge Mumbai voters to vote for Meera Sanyal.

I think its high time that citizens of this country stopped to think for a moment about who they are going to vote for. They should think about what they want from politicians and whether they have been getting that. The answer is obviously no. The system needs to change. We need educated, honest and responsible people like meera sanyal. I personally think that when someone like her stands up and says, enough is enough I will try to change things, we should give her our full support. Parties like the congress and BJP will always be there; but it is not everyday that candidates like Meera surface. We should make the most out of it. If she wins the election, there will be lots of like minded people like her who will want to join politics. And though it will take time, the system will change..

MUMBAI MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF GREATR MUMBAI HAS HUGE BUDGET, HOWEVER WHAT IS DISHEARTNING TO NOTE THAT –

[1] OUR WATER MAIN PIPELINES ARE ABOUT 100 YEARS OLD, NO ONE HAS BOTHERED TO REPAIR/REPLACE. IN ACUTE WATER SHORTAGE, BURSTING OF PIPELINES WORKS LIKE ADDING FUEL IN TO FIRE.TAX PAYERS ARE JUST SILENT.

[2] INSPITE BUG BUDGET, PEASE SE THE CONDITION OF MUNICIPAL HOSPITALS. EITHER MRI, VENTILATORS ARE NOT AVAILABLE OR NOT IN WORKING CONDITION.

[3] INSPITE HUGE BUDGET, PLEASE SEE THE POSITION OF MUNICIPAL SCHOLS. NO MAINTENANCE AT ALL.ROOMS ARE IN SHABBY CONDITION.

[4] SAME IS THE POSITION OF MUNICIPAL GARDEN, NOT WEELL MAITAINED. APPEARS SHABBY ,AND NO ONE LIKE TO ENTER GARDEN FOR RELAXATION.
