Where is the need to field Sajjan and Tytler as candidates from Delhi?
I am surprised but not shocked at Congress fielding Sajjan and Tytler for the Lok Sabha Elections 2009.
I am surprised because both Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Rahul Gandhi have stated that no sikh-riot tainted person will be given election tickets. Also, by and large the Sikhs have reconciled their hatred towards the Congress as Congress has made repeated attempts to reconcile with the Sikhs. I believe vendettas should not be carried on for generations.
By giving election tickets to Sajjan and Tytler, Congress has again reopened the wounds and have reminded the Sikhs of the riots in 1984. There was no need to the Congress to do so. Sajjan and Tytler are not critical to Congress winning in Delhi as Congress has won a number of elections without them. So what are the compulsions?
I am not shocked because both these guys were close to Rajiv Gandhi. Sonia is under an obligation to them. It is this compulsion that is forcing Sonia Gandhi to take a risk.
As far as the CBI giving a clean chit to these guys is concerned, its a hogwash. All you have to ask is who controls the CBI to understand what is going on. Its been over 20 years and nothing has happened? Nobody has been found guilty inspite of the fact that there are a number of witnesses. And, nothing will happen.
People like Junail Singh of Dainik Jagran will keep throwing shoes at Chidabaram but nothing will happen. Why? Nobody is listening. We need to get inside and ensure that our law and order system delivers justice within a couple of years and in our lifetime and not make us wait for eternity.
Whether it is the problems associated with Sikh riots, unauthorised construction in Delhi and Aravalli Hills or politicians getting away after distributing money to get votes or buy MPs to save the government, the root cause of the problem is lack of proper laws as well as implementation of laws of the land.

India does not deserve a weak, irresponsible, communal Prime Minister like Advani who handed over dreaded terrorists to the Taliban in Afghanistan. This fascist sparked riots across the country by pursuing a communal agenda, which is one of the main reasons for the presence of terrorism in India. This is the same politician who eulogised Jinnah, the creator of Pakistan and supports the communal Varun Gandhi in the same breath. Do not vote for such opportunists.
Balasaheb, it is better to vote for eunuchs than for those who have affairs with their own daughter-in-laws and murder their wives.
Kudos to the Congress for making a brave and wise decision of removing Tytler and Sajjan Kumar from the electoral fray. They did it just in the nick of time as BJP was desperately trying to create a riot-like situation across the country. BJP leaders passed irresponsible comments on television to whip up passion among Sikhs to reopen old wounds in the hope that they would benefit if much Sikhs turned against the Congress. Why is it that there are no Sikhs in the BJP if they actually cared so for that community? And doesn’t the Congress have a Sikh PM whom the BJP vilifies at every opportunity?
People of Andhra Pradesh, Please, Please do not vote for the TDP. Chandrababu Naidu is nothing more than a corrupt, communal opportunist. He keeps on collecting the vote of unsuspecting Muslims and afterwards supports the BJP. He did not even vote against the BJP after the No-Confidence vote following the Gujarat riots of 2002. Teach Chandrababu Naidu the same lesson you taught him in 2004.

I still cannot understand how Gujarat can keep on voting for Narendra Genocide Modi. Are the people of Gujarat so communal and blood thirsty that they vote for someone who has destroyed over 200 temples in Gujarat in the past year? He doesn’t care for Hinduism just for Hindu votes.

I heard a BJP leader on television explaining that it was a secular party. How stupid is that? They have given a ticket to Varun Gandhi, the prime accused in Kandhmal, and communal leaders like Narendra Modi and Lal Kandahar Advani, and they expect to fool the minorities.
The BJPs argument that Varun Gandhi was not speaking on the CD is as baseless and irresponsible as nearly all the statement it makes. It is a dishonest, communal and corrupt party.
Lal Kandahar Advani and Narendra Genocide Modi are the two root causes of terrorism in our country. They have ushered in an era of Rakhshas Rajya and not Ram Rajya. Ram Rajya would be a place where minorities can. live in dignity Please don’t vote for BJP.

Nitish Kumar, if you feel so strongly against Varun Gandhi then why are you still with the BJP? And if you care for Biharis in Mumbai then why are you in a coalition with the Shiv Sena who hates North Indians?
By taking Nirmala Venkatesh as a candidate, the BJP chief minister Yeddyurappa shows his true communal colours. Wasn’t Venkatesh the one who justified the attacks on women in Mangalore by the diversionary tactics of asking for the license? It just shows that the BJP is a party of women haters and communalists.
