What is wrong? What should be done?

Where will the 2G scam end?

Let me predict what will happen to the 2G scam? It is disappear from our radar in due course of time just like other scams. Do you know what happened to the Koda scam? It has disappeared. Do we know whether the government could recover any of the money that he made? Do we even think about Koda? We all know the answer.

What do we have to read about Rahul Gandhi in the papers?

Believe me, this is a serious question. He gives a speech here or there. We hear he is breaking bread with the dalits or some villagers. I have’nt heard one thing from him which could be important for our country. Scams keep happening and he doesn’t even comment. Did we hear anything from him with respect to telecom scam or the Radia tapes. One of the ministers in the government that his party is running is involved in a huge scam and he has no comment to make. Minister in his party’s government are lobbying for portfolios and he has no comment to make. Well, since the media is not setting the record straight, I might as well do it. One of his ministers is nicknamed “15% man” and he has no comment. One of his Chief Ministers is removed because of Adarsh scam and he has no comment. I wish he would either comment on scams/corruption or be involved in scams or stop pretending that he is working for the good of the poor people. Poor people are not interested in having dinner with him. They want government to work for them. They want roti, kapada aur makan.

No one killed Jessica. No loss was made on 2G scam.

In my earlier blog, I had stated that I will provide evidence, motive and logic to prove that Kapil Sibal is absolutely wrong when he suggests that there was no loss made to the government of India or to the people of this country.

What about the “aam businessman?”

Congress party has been talking about the aam aadmi for a very long time but what about the “aam businessman?” Well, they all talk about SMEs but I think most of the time they are thinking in terms of manufacturing companies. Also, all attention of the government is on big business. If you read the newspaper, you will find that all policy changes are for the big business. Recently, I saw pictures of Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee meeting all the bigwigs like Ratan Tata in a pre-budget meeting. I believe the government should understand that the success of every major economy including India lies with small businesses and entrepreneurs. We know that 99.9% entreprenuers start of small.

We are illegal. We like being illegal. Jhalikattu.

You know our whole country is practically illegal and so are the citizens of this country. We like being illegal. I know what you must be thinking. This guy is crazy. How can he arrive at this conclusion?

Nobody killed Jessica. Nobody loots the country. Opening Statement.

I recently saw the movie “Nobody killed Jessica” and it reminded me of the recent statements made by Mr. Kapiil Sibal that the ex-telecom minister Raja didn’t do any wrong. Nobody in our great country does any wrong yet our country gets looted everyday and everyday one scam of the other is revealed. Just like nobody killed Jessica, nobody gave away telecom licences for peanuts, nobody sanctioned deemed universities running from small offices, nobody built Adarsh, nobody raped the 17 year old dalit girl in UP and nobody heard Radia’s tapes. If it was left to the politicians like Mr Kapil Sibal, girls would be raped on their own, fodder would disappear by magic, one fine morning we would find multi-storey buildings standing supposedly built by God for the honest hardworking relatives, drivers and friends of politicians, high ranking army officers and bureaucrats.

Judges also think they are the chosen ones

In my earlier blog, I had mentioned that why do we have separate rule for different people when the constitution promises equality for all. Buta Singh as chairman of the some commission can only be removed for corruption after procedures different from others is followed. Now the judiciary wants to have a different procedure. I think we have different procedures for some government officials. This is absolutely ridiculous. Nobody and I mean nobody including the President and the Prime Minister should be exempted from being prosecuted for corruption. The procedure adopted for everybody should be the same. I am surprised why this has not been challenged by somebody in a court of law.

Shashi Tharoor should clear the air

I am totally amazed at the attitude of Congess party. It has stated that the “Shashi-Sunanda-IPL” fiasco is a personal matter of the minister and that it has nothing to do with the Congress party. With an attitude like this how can corruption be ever eliminated in this country?

What even business schools don’t teach!

I have recently published a management magazine titled “Management Talk.” The first issue was released in November 2009. This first issue of the magazine is focussed on making management concepts simple and easy to understand for students, teachers and practitioners of management including executives and entreprenuers. From next issue onwards, I am planning to include article(s) of the government management and what we need to do to fix the problems of our country. I haver already been writing about this here as well on my website www.vote2change.org.

3-yearly budget – A sane proposal at last!

13th finance commission had recommended that there should a 3-yearly budget and that the government should stop tweaking the tax and duty rates or major policies every year. Now this makes perfect sense. This would save everybody’s time as well as a great deal of money. Look at the time spent by the government in preparing the budget and the businesses speculating and tracking the changes in the budget every year.
