Government  Complaints

We have mentioned that the government should work for the benefit of the citizens of this country for the reasons given below:

1. Citizens are customers

All the citizens of the country are customers of the government departments and ministries. We buy services from them and pay for them. We need to be treated like customers by all the government machinery.

2. Citizens are employers

By voting for the candidates, citizens delegate the power to develop the organization structure of the government as well as employ the people to run the government machinery. Just like the shareholders of a company, Citizens are the shareholders of the government and we indirectly employ the government employees and the elected officials. So the government employees and politicians should treat the citizens of the country as their employers.

3. Citizens pay the salaries

Citizens pay the salaries of the government employees and the elected officials through taxes as well as by buying the products and services of the government.

It is obvious that government employees and elected officials should treat the citizen of this country with respect and perform their duties for the benefit of their customers and employers, that is, the citizen. However, we all know how the citizen of this country is treated.

As such, we have established a complaints website. Here you can post your complaints with respect to government departments. We are doing this with two objectives as follows:

  • To put before the government departments and the elected officials the problems faced by the citizens of this country so that they take necessary action to serve their customer and employer (the citizen) in a more effective manner. The government machinery can also find out the problems faced by the citizens of this country and take appropriate action.

  • Once elected, we also need to know the problems faced by the citizens so that we can initiate actions to resolve the problems faced by the citizens of the country.
